What Is the Double Happiness Slot?
Double Happiness is a vibrant Asian festivity-themed video slot — weaving classic symbols of good fortune such as red lanterns, golden dragons, lotus blossoms and lucky coins into a gameplay experience rich with colour and positive energy. The game's name draws inspiration from the "Shuangxi" symbol, meaning double happiness in Asian culture — representing luck and fortune that comes twice over to those who are blessed.
At 1000z, Double Happiness is more than just a visually appealing slot. It runs on a "243 Ways to Win" system that replaces traditional paylines — meaning you win whenever matching symbols appear on adjacent reels from left to right, regardless of their exact position on each reel. This opens up 243 possible winning combinations on every spin, giving you far more ways to win than a standard payline slot.
Since its launch on 1000z, Double Happiness has become one of the most popular slots among Malaysian players who love Asian luck-themed games. Many players are first drawn in by the stunning lantern graphics and festive soundtrack, but keep coming back because of the Double Wild feature — which can genuinely multiply their winnings twofold. One player from Kuala Lumpur reportedly walked away with RM18,500 in a single Double Happiness Free Spins session on 1000z, proving that the "double happiness" in the name is more than just a tagline.
Game Features
Key Features of Double Happiness You Need to Know
Double Happiness is packed with bonus features that complement one another and can trigger thrillingly rewarding wins. At 1000z, here is what sets this game apart from ordinary slots:
The Wild symbol in Double Happiness is no ordinary Wild — it's a Double Wild that substitutes for other symbols AND doubles the payout of any winning combination it completes. If two Double Wild symbols appear in the same winning combination, the payout is multiplied 4 times over (2× × 2×). This is the most anticipated feature among 1000z players.
Land 3, 4 or 5 Scatter symbols (Golden Lantern) anywhere on the reels to trigger Free Spins with Double Wild active. 3 Scatters = 8 Free Spins, 4 Scatters = 12 Free Spins and 5 Scatters = 20 Free Spins. During Free Spins at 1000z, all wins involving the Double Wild automatically receive an additional multiplier.
An exclusive bonus feature in Double Happiness at 1000z — triggered when the Fortune Wheel symbol lands simultaneously on reels 1, 3 and 5. You're awarded three spins on a wheel containing cash prizes ranging from 10x to 500x your bet, additional free spins or a special multiplier for the next spin.
Premium symbols such as the Golden Dragon and Lantern can appear in stacked form, filling an entire reel. When this happens alongside the 243 Ways to Win system at 1000z, multiple winning combinations can land simultaneously — making every spin featuring a stacked symbol exceptionally valuable.
During Free Spins at 1000z, land 3 or more Scatters to trigger additional free rounds. Retriggering can happen repeatedly with no cap on the number of times, meaning you can stay in Free Spins mode for an extended run if luck is on your side that day.
Can't wait for the Scatter to land on its own? 1000z offers the Buy Bonus feature for Double Happiness — purchase direct access to Free Spins for 100x your current bet. This option is popular among experienced players who want to maximise their time in the game's bonus round.
Pay Table
Symbol Values & Double Happiness Pay Table at 1000z
Understanding the value of each symbol in Double Happiness is key to planning an effective betting strategy. Keep in mind that the 243 Ways to Win system calculates combinations differently from standard pay line slots — the payouts below apply to each winning combination before any Double Wild multipliers:
| Symbol | 3 Symbols | 4 Symbols | 5 Symbols | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 🏮 Golden Lantern (Wild) | 2× multiplier | 2× multiplier | 2× multiplier | Double Wild |
| 🐉 Golden Dragon | 60x | 300x | 1,200x | Highest |
| 💰 Fortune Coins | 40x | 200x | 800x | Premium |
| 🔮 Crystal Ball | 25x | 120x | 500x | High |
| 🌸 Lotus Flower | 18x | 80x | 320x | High |
| 🎋 Green Bamboo | 12x | 50x | 200x | Standard |
| 🎴 A / K Cards | 6x | 25x | 100x | Basics |
| 🎴 Q / J / 10 Card | 4x | 15x | 60x | Basics |
The true power of Double Happiness lies in its Double Wild multiplier, which can stack twice when two Wild symbols appear in the same winning combination. Picture this scenario: you land 3 Golden Dragon symbols, two of which are substituted by Double Wilds — the 60x payout is first multiplied 2× (from the first Wild), then 2× again (from the second Wild), bringing the final value to 60× × 4 = 240x for a single combination in one spin at 1000z.
During Free Spins, this potential becomes even more apparent when stacked Golden Dragon symbols land alongside Double Wilds across multiple reels. With the 243 Ways to Win system, several winning combinations can form at once — each potentially receiving a 4× multiplier if two Double Wilds are involved. This is why players at 1000z frequently report unexpected wins that far exceed their expectations during Double Happiness Free Spins.
Game ProfileFull Double Happiness Profile at 1000z
Before you start playing Double Happiness, take a moment to understand the game's profile so your expectations are realistic and your bankroll strategy is well-structured:
With Medium-High volatility, Double Happiness strikes a solid balance between win frequency and big-win potential. A hit rate of around 30% means roughly one in every three spins will produce a win of varying sizes. This compares favourably to High volatility slots like Olympus Glory, while still offering the chance for substantial wins through its unique double Double Wild mechanic.
For a comfortable session at 1000z, it is recommended that you set aside a bankroll of at least 80 to 120 times your bet value. This gives you enough buffer to stay in the game until Free Spins are triggered or the Fortune Wheel Bonus activates — the two moments most likely to dramatically turn your session around.

Understanding the 243 Ways to Win System
Unlike standard payline slots, Double Happiness at 1000z uses 243 Ways to Win. You win when matching symbols appear on reels 1, 2 and 3 (or more) consecutively from left to right — no need for them to be on the same row. This gives you far more ways to win on every spin.
Set Your Bet Value
In Double Happiness, your bet amount is the total per spin (not per line). The betting range runs from RM0.20 to RM500 per spin at 1000z. If you are new to the game, starting at RM0.40 to RM2 per spin and gradually adjusting to suit your bankroll is a sensible approach.
Watch for Double Wilds & Bonuses
When a Double Wild symbol lands, watch for the special animation that plays — this signals that your win is about to be multiplied. If two Double Wilds appear simultaneously in the same combination at 1000z, get ready for the deeply satisfying 4× multiplier animation. Keep an eye out for the Fortune Wheel symbol too, which triggers the Fortune Wheel Bonus.
Withdraw Your Winnings
Once you have hit your winning goal, withdraw directly to your Malaysian bank account via DuitNow or FPX. 1000z processes withdrawals in under 5 minutes for standard amounts. There are no hidden fees for withdrawals using local Malaysian payment methods.
Effective Strategies for Playing Double Happiness at 1000z
Maximise the Value of Double Wilds
The standout feature of Double Happiness is its Double Wild multiplier. When you play at 1000z and two Wilds land in the same winning combination, your payout is multiplied 4×. This makes larger bets during Free Spins a smart move — a 4× multiplier can turn a modest win into something truly significant.
Use Buy Bonus When Your Bankroll Allows
The 1000z Buy Bonus feature lets you purchase Double Happiness Free Spins for 100x your bet. This is worthwhile when your bankroll exceeds RM200–RM300 and you want instant access to the bonus without a long wait. Avoid using Buy Bonus when your balance is low, as it can deplete your bankroll before any wins have a chance to land.
Plan Your Bankroll for Medium-High Volatility
Double Happiness's Medium-High volatility means patience is key — wins won't land every spin, but when they do, they can be significant. Set aside a bankroll of 80–120× your bet size for a session and use the deposit limit feature available at 1000z to cap your daily losses.
Make the Most of 1000z Bonuses & Rebates
The 1000z welcome bonus gives you extra funds to play Double Happiness. Take advantage of the daily slot rebate credited automatically to your account — this reduces your overall risk by returning a portion of any losses. Deposit via Touch 'n Go or DuitNow for instant processing with no additional fees.
Try Demo Mode Before Playing for Real
1000z offers a free demo mode for Double Happiness. Spend 30–50 demo spins getting familiar with the 243 Ways to Win system, stacked symbol patterns and Double Wild mechanics before playing with real money. A solid understanding of the game will help you make smarter betting decisions.
Set Your Win & Loss Limits
Before each Double Happiness session at 1000z, set two targets — a win goal (e.g. 2× your starting balance) and a maximum loss limit (e.g. 50% of your balance). Stop playing once either limit is reached. This discipline keeps you in control at all times and ensures your experience at 1000z remains positive in the long run.
